Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…

Ayr Races Jumps Season

14:40 Ayr – On We Go (Daily Telegraph)

The most obvious answer is ON WE GO, who looked revitalised by the switch to a new stable and rewarded good market support when winning by over 5l here last month. Isle Of Aron remains a maiden after 13 career starts but comes here after two good runs last month and might be boosted by the first-time cheekpieces. Roan is perhaps the most interesting of the handicap debutants.

15:25 Lingfield – Isola Rossa (Racing Post)

Recent course winners Wonder Elmossman and Daphne May (respected in that order) have clear claims but ISOLA ROSSA is a likeable filly who also runs this track well. Through no fault of her own, she got into an awkward position last time over 7f before running on late in the day. This trip is a better fit.

16:15 Fakenham – Game Line (Daily Mail)

Despite both being 12yos now Potters Legend and Goodnight Charlie can’t be written off given their liking for this track, while guaranteed stayer Supreme Escape and the in-form Tommie Beau are others to consider. However, the vote goes to GAME LINE who has dropped back to the same mark as when taking this race last year.

18:10 Wetherby – Dougies Dream (Sheffield Star)

Others might suddenly be seen in a more positive light but those who have shown up prominently in recent weeks appear to head calculations. The way in which DOUGIES DREAM won over 1m at Redcar contained promise, so he gets the vote ahead of Without Delay who looked better than the result suggests in a 7f race contested by several of today’s runners at Catterick. Ey Up Its The Boss (up in trip) and Rum Going On (winner last Thursday) look best of the rest.
