13:10 – Simpsons Paradox
The Bank Holiday action at the Curragh gets underway with a six-furlong maiden where SIMPSON’S PARADOX looks an interesting runner for Jessica Harrington and Shane Foley.
The son of Mastercraftsman is a home-bred for the Niarchos Family and is related to many of their previous and current superstars. This juvenile is a full brother to Alpha Centauri and Discoveries and a half-brother to Alpine Star and with that pedigree he looks more than capable of upsetting Tiger Paw in this one.

13:45 – Crispy Cat
There was a lot to like about the debut success of CRISPY CAT at Cork last month and Michael O’Callaghan’s juvenile can progress further to win the five-furlong First Flier Stakes.
It was a lovely front running ride by Leigh Roche on that occasion with the son of Ardad learning plenty and scoring with a bit in hand. This race has been the plan for connections since Cork and success over Blackbeard and Ocean Vision in this Listed event will see him book his place to Royal Ascot next month.

14:55 – Perfect Thunder
This looks a good opportunity for PERFECT THUNDER to secure a second career victory on her handicap debut for Joseph O’Brien. The daughter of Night Of Thunder has the class to see off these rivals having had the benefit of a recent run when winning a maiden over course and distance at the start of the season.
The form of that victory has subsequently been enhanced with success for Toy at Cork last month and an opening rating of 88 looks manageable before progressing further this season.
16:05 – Layfayette
This looks a fascinating renewal of the Group 2 Moorsbridge Stakes with several of these rivals meeting again following LAYFAYETTE’S success in the Alleged Stakes last month.
Noel Meade’s runner is progressing nicely this season and will once again be played late with Chris Hayes in the saddle. High Definition also renews rivalry and should improve second time up for Aidan O’Brien, while the lightly raced Licence is also on the shortlist for Ger Lyons and Colin Keane. However, the Noel Meade’s five-year-old is a likeable type who can progress further and secure another victory.
