Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…

15:00 Newmarket – Shine So Bright (Racing And Football Outlook, Andrew Mount)

SHINE SO BRIGHT has been absent since a heavy defeat at Ascot last July; however, his form figures for his first outing of the season read 1102 and this C&D winner reappears on a handy mark; respected in a first-time hood.

14:40 Goodwood – Stone Of Destiny (The Star, Jason Heavey)

Pipped in a five-runner renewal of this race last year; STONE OF DESTINY has a 5lb lower mark this time round and plenty of other form in 2021 makes that look generous; with latest start a step back in the right direction, he is one to take seriously.

16:15 Punchestown – Busselton (The i, Jon Freeman)

Well placed to exploit the 4yo allowance in chases earlier this season, winning three times (2m3f-2m6f); BUSSELTON found 2m1f on the sharp side in the Arkle at Leopardstown; second by default in the all-Irish four-runner Turners at Cheltenham.

19:55 Newcastle – Tromso (The Irish Field, Rory Delargy)

Front-runner who was placed in three of his six starts for Kevin Ryan; TROMSO was ridden more patiently on this month’s stable debut/reappearance (7f, good to soft) and never threatened; cheepieces added on this first crack at sprinting; dangerous mark if it suits.
