16:25 – T Maxie
Michael Attwater has a couple of key players here in Miss Shirley and Battle Point, while Pure Charmer finished close up at Wolverhampton in her last run and could make another bold bid back from a break. However, the vote goes to George Scott’s well-bred filly T MAXIE, who showed clear promise in her last two maidens and is an interesting contender now switched to a handicap after wind surgery. Miss Shirley is feared most.
17:00 – Land Of Summer
Coraje showed clear promise with her debut third at Kempton but she was disapointing at Beverley last week and has something to prove after that. The Johnston-trained Favourite Queen is an interesting newcomer who needs a close look, but the vote goes to LAND OF SUMMER, who has plenty of speed in her pedigree and represents a yard with a 31% record with 2yos here in recent years. Another debutante who needs watching in the market is the Havana Grey filly Mai Alward.

17:35 – Roxzoff
Top of the list is dual AW winner ROXZOFF (nap), who found more progress when going very close back on turf at Beverley last week and is well treated off the same mark here. Naughty Nadine was only just caught by an improver at Catterick last Wednesday and is a big danger if she can repeat that form. Recent Kempton winner Fat Gladiator is also respected, while the handicap newcomer Bascinet needs checking in the market for a yard that won this last year.
18:05 – Makinmedoit
Money for Susanbequick would be interesting, while Red Kite still has some potential, but this looks a good opportunity for MAKINMEDOIT to make a winning reappearance. She sets the standard on her 2yo efforts and today’s longer trip should be right up her street.

18:40 – Lady Elysia
Preference is for four-time turf winner LADY ELYSIA, who was a creditable third on ground slower than ideal at Bath on her recent return and looks a big player on this drop back in trip. Miss Tiki is well handicapped if she can recapture the form of her emphatic win here in the autumn.
19:15 – Rivas Rob Roy
Most of the runners come with risks attached but it might be worth siding with John Gallagher’s seven-time winner RIVAS ROB ROY. He didn’t fire on Polytrack at Lingfield 11 days ago but that was after a win at the same course earlier this month and he remains well treated on his success here last spring. The pick of the opposition could be Bbob Alula, who also scored on AW on his penultimate run and is effective on fast ground at this track.

19:50 – Secret To Success
The vote goes to SECRET TO SUCCESS, who got back in the groove with a close third at Wolverhampton last month and has leading claims if she can transfer that form back to turf. Second choice is Fennaan, who wasn’t beaten far on Tapeta 25 days ago and is well treated if he can build on that back in trip. Another to keep an eye on is the returning Essme, who looks interesting on her best 7f form last season and still has potential after only seven starts.
