Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…

14:40 Lingfield – Secret Glow (Mirror Online, Melissa Jones)

SECRET GLOW came home well to beat a reliable yardstick on his C&D comeback late last month and a 3lb rise looks fair enough; adaptable regarding tactics and has every chance of following up.

14:50 Ayr – Briardale (The Racing Post, The North)

10yo who was inconsistent last season but BRIARDALE won three of his seven starts in that campaign, including last April when back from an absence which highlights his ability to go well fresh; one to consider on his return.

17:40 Southwell – Phoenix Aquilus (Sunday Mail, Rockavon)

Dual Tapeta winner (1m6f/2m) around the turn of the year and although PHOENIX AQUILUS beaten less than a length in his hat-trick bid at Lingfield (2m, Polytrack) in February, that wasn’t bad form with the winner having gone in again since; up another 2lb, but still a player following a short break.

19:25 Windsor – Cosmic Desert (Cambridge Evening News, Luke Tucker)

COSMIC DESERT made an encouraging debut in 1m2f novice event at Newmarket’s Craven meeting (1m2f, good) the week before last, finishing 5l third to stablemate New London who is a Derby prospect; already gelded before that race, which is a slight niggle, but comes here with leading form claims.
