WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
13:00 – Monsieur Fantaisie
Plenty of these have something to prove at present but MONSIEUR FANTAISIE has been in good form and can be relied upon to launch a bold bid. Monsieur Fantaisie looked unlucky not to win a six-furlong handicap at Chelmsford on his final start last year as he met plenty of trouble, but he made amends in a classified stakes over the same course and distance a month later, finishing comfortably on top at the line. Monsieur Fantaisie was a creditable second back in handicap company at Kempton last month and that form has worked out well with the winner and third both scoring next time.
13:30 – Macs Dilemma
Things didn’t go right for MACS DILEMMA when he was fourth at Wolverhampton last month as he was hampered at the start, forced wide entering the straight and never able to make a serious impact. He went close at Windsor last time, though, beaten less than half a length in third and showing that he’s on a competitive mark. He has edged up only 1 lb and ought to go close again.
14:05 – Regal Envoy
REGAL ENVOY made little impact on his debut at Windsor last season but he proved a different proposition on his return at Wolverhampton last month, only just failing by a short head. That is comfortably the best form on offer, he remains open to improvement and should be difficult to beat.
14:40 – Hallowed Time
HALLOWED TIME disappointed on his final start in France but he had shown fairly useful form when landing a maiden at Deauville and he was also successful in handicap company at Dieppe. Hallowed Time has since left Eoghan O’Neill and joined Robert Cowell and he starts out in Britain from a fair-looking mark.

15:15 – Urban Forest
URBAN FOREST shaped with encouragement when runner-up over course and distance on his recent return, faring best of those who raced close up in a contest run at a strong gallop. He is able to race off the same mark here and is fitted with cheekpieces which might eke out a bit of improvement, so he makes most appeal.
15:50 – Little Hustle
LITTLE HUSTLE didn’t cost much – he was bought for 5,000 guineas as a yearling – but he has a decent pedigree and offered something to work with when third on debut at Kempton in February. Little Hustle understandably showed signs of inexperience at the first attempt but he kept on nicely from the rear and he ought to improve with that outing under his belt. Little Hustle sets a high standard on that form – the first two home have since won – and he has been found a nice opportunity to get off the mark.

16:20 – Uncle Dick
UNCLE DICK won first time out last season and returns with the Eve Johnson Houghton yard among the winners, so he catches the eye. Uncle Dick failed to win again last term after striking at Wolverhampton but he ran plenty of creditable races in defeat, including on his penultimate outing at Kempton, where he was the only one to offer any sort of threat from off the pace. He is just 2 lb higher than at Kempton (he is also just 2 lb above his last winning mark) and he has good claims on his return.
16:55 – Adatorio
ADATORIO looked unlucky not to finish a bit closer when third at Wolverhampton last time as he was keeping on nicely when hampered over a furlong out. He has been given a short break since that effort in January and blinkers replace the cheekpieces, so it would be little surprise were this lightly-raced type, who is in excellent hands with Clive Cox, to take a step forward.
