Tried to make all from a wide stall on the AW last time and that was another effort for this yard that was a bit better than it looked; is one to consider each-way; restless in the stalls and emerged without her jockey on latest intended start (deemed a non-runner).

14:40 Hexham – Allardyce (Racing and Football Outlook, Andrew Mount)

10yo who is yet to threaten for his current yard and better could have been expected at Hereford last time, but he’d posted some fair efforts previously and he continues to drop down the weights; not discounted.

17:50 Pontefract – Good Listener (Morning Star, Farringdon)

5f soft-ground winner for Richard Hannon as a 2yo and although only seventh in two starts for this yard on Tapeta last month following a lengthy absence, he had valid excuses on both occasions; capable of bouncing back at some point, but perhaps not today from the outside stall.
