14:15 – Hide And Seek

Having bumped into the classy El Fabiolo (Grade 1 second at Aintree Friday) in a maiden here last time HIDE AND SEEK can make the most of this easier opportunity. What An Ocean and Beret Rouge are the obvious ones to give her a race.

14:47 – Life In The Park

Holding the strongest form, LIFE IN THE PARK has to come back from a disappointing run last time plus an absence but it is difficult to oppose him. A host of horses have solid chances if he disappoints, notably Hermann Clermont, Old Chap, Butty O’Brien and Jakie Mac.

15:22 – Bite That

Robyndeglory would be very interesting here if back to her winter form, but she’s been very disappointing on her last few starts so a chance is taken on BITE THAT instead. He is a lightly-raced 6yo who could have more to offer in this sort of grade. Good World is not discounted either.

15:57 – Fighter Allen

It is hard to trust Mr Incredible after what he did at Leopardstown so the vote goes to FIGHTER ALLEN. He had some useful horses behind when 6l second to Stattler on his first start over fences at Fairyhouse and we all know how that form has worked out. This looks a good piece of placing by Willie Mullins, who has won the last two runnings, and he should be hard to beat.

16:30 – Presenting Point (nap)

PRESENTING POINT (nap), a C&D winner in 2020, got his head back in front at Thurles last month and is only 6lb higher now. He sneaks in here at the bottom of the weights and everything points to another bold showing. Siberian Star is a danger, while Pat Coyne will have his supporters given his consistency.

17:00 – Leahman

Having run his best race over fences when third in a Clonmel beginners’ on comeback run last time, LEAHMAN should break his chase duck today if repeating that effort. General Clermont wasn’t far behind him that day and can give him a race. Itsalonglongroad goes well here and shouldn’t be far away, while Irregularheartbeat has to be considered. Clody Valley should run well.

17:30 – Queen Jane

Having shown a decent level of ability without getting a hard time in a strong Fairyhouse maiden hurdle on debut, QUEEN JANE should have enough ability to win this. The Grey Dove also showed ability over hurdles on debut and is a danger, while Glory Liss should have improved from her debut second. True Light is most interesting of the newcomers.
