12:30 – Post Chaise (nap)
Given the form of the Oliver Greenall stable, it may be prudent to side with POST CHAISE (nap), who showed much improved form to win on his handicap debut at Hereford. This further step up in trip should suit and that form worked out well with the fourth and sixth winning next time. He’s taken to beat fellow recent winner Songbird’s Tale.

13:00 – Git Maker
This looks set to go the way of GIT MAKER, who won’t have to improve to notch his fourth win (and his third over hurdles), despite carrying a double penalty. The form of his handicap debut (fourth) at Sandown worked out tremendously well and he’s taken to get the better of Geordies Dream, who may find this ground more to his liking than the heavy conditions he encountered at Ayr last time.
13:37 – Edmond Dantes
Go On Chez is interesting given the form of the Oliver Greenall yard but he’s been off since August and is down a fair way in trip so this tips things the way of EDMOND DANTES. Ruth Jefferson’s steadily progressive sort fell when travelling strongly over C&D on his penultimate start but he showed himself none the worse for that experience when running well at Market Rasen last time and he has a race of this nature in him. Sir Apollo looks best of the remainder.
14:15 – Rapid Raider
An open event. Lough Salt is in fine form at present and has decent prospects of completing the three-timer, despite an 11lb rise in the weights. However, he’s taken on with RAPID RAIDER, who has improved a fair bit over fences this season and hails from a yard adept at getting the best out of its staying chasers.

14:50 – Byzantine Empire
Brief Times and See The Sea both have below-par efforts to put behind them and this looks at the mercy of BYZANTINE EMPIRE. Fergal O’Brien’s runner matched his best RPR at Musselburgh last time and he should be suited by this ground.
15:25 – Empire De Maulde
The prevailing ground conditions could be the key to the outcome of this and goodish ground should suit EMPIRE DE MAULDE better than it does any of his rivals. Although he would probably prefer a bit further, he is effective over this trip and he comes here after an encouraging hurdle run last time. He’s taken to beat Dalyotin and Buster Valentine.
16:00 – Alaya
Recent winners Court At Slip and Johnson’s Blue have claims, as do Get With It and Warriors Story. However, a flier is taken with dual course winner ILAYA, who admittedly hasn’t been in much form this season. However, she has dropped to a very tempting mark, she is worth a try over this trip and looks a similar type to Ex S’Elance, who was a gambled-on winner of this race for this yard in 2019 (trainer also won the corresponding event last year).
16:40 – Ugo Du Misselot
It wasn’t a bad run last time from UGO DU MISSELOT and he’s down in grade over a trip that might be more suitable. Kings Creek and Muroor seem in better form than most and they’re feared in that order.
