WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

14:10 – Moonlight Glory (NAP)

Having run a sound race when second at Hexham on her stable debut, MOONLIGHT GLORY (nap) is taken to continue her trainer’s good run of form by beating Spot On Soph in this interesting contest.

14:45 – Gold Miner

Last-time winner Haas Boy clearly merits respect but he may find it difficult to successfully concede 7lb to GOLD MINER who, it is hoped, will benefit from the fitting of cheekpieces and score. Where’s Hector is not ruled out, while Last One To Show could show more now upped in trip.

15:20 – Minelladestination

Although beaten under a penalty last time, MINELLADESTINATION came up against a significant improver and there does not appear to be one of those here. Bonne Vitesse is the obvious danger on form. Chestnut Rose is of good stock and support for her would be interesting.

16:00 – Fulgurix

There are a few with a chance here, including Bourbon Borderline and Myburg, but the safest option looks to be FULGURIX who is still a maiden but has some solid form over fences to his name.

16:35 – Cresswell Queen

It may be best to concentrate on the last-time-out winners CRESSWELL QUEEN, Bobbie The Dazzler and Great Raffles in that order of preference.

17:08 – Ballintogher Boy

It remains to be seen whether Wake Up Early will progress from his Fakenham win and he might have to. Preference is for BALLINTOGHER BOY as he appeared to idle late on when scoring at Newcastle. Last year’s runner-up Going Mobile is well handicapped if returning to form in new headgear.

17:42 – William Cody

Any money for Penpal would be interesting as he is so well treated but this can go to the unexposed WILLIAM CODY, whose stable has hit form recently. Killane should also run well.
