18:20 Dundalk – Mr Trinket

This looks a three-pronged affair concerning the top three in race card order. The selection looks more of a straightforward ride than the other two and also can take the half mile jump up in distance in his stride and improve with that. Jack Kearney is a solid 7lb claimer and he can maintain his 100 per cent strike rate on MR TRINKET.

18:30 Kempton – King Francis

Often the best time to catch runners switching to a new stable is on the first occasion and KING FRANCIS has given us a few reasons to think he can improve now switched to Michael Bell. He’s been gelded since we last saw him and the three that finished in front of him at Newcastle last time are rated mid 80’s, mid 90’s and 105.

He starts off on what looks like the bargain basement mark of 70.

19:30 Kempton – Silver Dollar

SILVER DOLLAR made a mockery of his handicap debut rating of 59, slipping clear of the field for an easy three and a quarter length success. A 6lb hike shouldn’t stop his rapid improvement and he has been handed a decent inside stall position. He is one of the many Shadwell Stud dispersal sale runners and can prove a bargain purchase for 15,000 guineas having originally gone for 60,000 guineas.

20:00 Kempton – Sisters In The Sky

Looked a talented runner on all of her juvenile starts at a lot of Group 1 tracks. SISTERS IN THE SKY broke her maiden at Goodwood and subsequently ran a stormer in a red-hot nursery at York, showing plenty of natural pace and only coming up for air inside the final 100 yards. You can put a line through her final start as she gave it away in the starting stalls. It looks a green light as Hollie Doyle is booked to ride.

20:20 Dundalk – Zanabad

ZANABAD has caught the eye on one or two occasions, none more so over 6 furlongs around here back in February when not beaten too far under hands-and-heels riding. The headgear combinations that have been used the last two times are left off on this occasion and he backs up very quickly from Leopardstown on Wednesday when he was hemmed on the fence the whole way around. We have not seen the best of him yet.

20:30 Kempton – Catbird Seat

CATBIRD SEAT has shown a good level of consistency since having wind surgery and switching back on to the Flat, rounding off with a tidy win last time at Wolverhampton over this trip. He may well have only won by half a length on that occasion, but he was well on top of the finish after being ridden with plenty of restraint. He has only been nudged up 3lb by the handicapper and rider David Probert has run away with the All Weather championship.
