Forbearing will do well to make all from stall 14 and Magicinthemaking isn’t far away in 12, though she did defy a similar draw here last time. This is very open but the suggestion is GONZAGA, who is frustrating but he’s capable and just needs a break.

A positive market move for handicap debutant Goldsmith would bring him into the equation but this may be fought out by Bulleit and PHANTASY MAC. Both should get 1m2f in time and choosing between them isn’t easy but the last-time-out win of George Boughey’s filly has the most substance.

Rubbeldiekatz and Mcqueen hold obvious claims but LETTER OF THE LAW, who was around the 4-1 mark when taken out of a competitive 0-75 at Windsor on Monday on account of the ground, could be about to step forward. Fellow handicap debutant Royal Aviation is of interest too.
20:00 – Flyin’ High
A few of these know how dangerous Proclaimer is when granted a soft lead and he could get it pretty easy at the head of affairs again but FLYIN’ HIGH (nap), who has the scope to go on improving, could have his measure.
20:30 – Aegis Power
The form of Wild Crusade’s two novice runs here is quite persuasive but AEGIS POWER is a viable alternative given he gave a couple of race-fit rivals a decent race last time and should benefit from this extra distance. High Fibre is another to note.
