Horse Racing Tips: This 9/2 punt may do at Cork on Sunday

The Racing Post like the look of Pearl Palinka (16:22) on the Cork card.

14:05 – Galleria Borghese

This may revolve around a Classic-entered trio, two Ballydoyle newcomers and Fozzy Stack’s My Eyes Adore You who shaped well on her debut and can be excused her second run. In something of a guessing-game GALLERIA BORGHESE, Moore’s preference over Lost, gets the vote.

14:37 – It’s Snowing

Two of the most appealing runners, both Dundalk winners at two, are drawn on opposite sides of the track. IT’S SNOWING, who has the number one berth, is just preferred

15:12 – Twilight Spinner

Having had only three races in Britain and one so far for Joseph O’Brien, TWILIGHT SPINNER may be the most progressive runner here. She is tipped to confirm Curragh form with Measure Of Magic and may see off likely challenges from Logo Hunter and Mooneista who have strong claims on the strength of several lively displays last season. Last year’s winner Laugh A Minute faces deeper opposition this time.

15:47 – Beauty Crescent

The market should help to clarify the picture but Ger Lyons may have the solution with BEAUTY CRESCENT. Jessica Harrington has established a good line to early-season form, so any pronounced support for Polar Bear would be potentially significant. Crispy Cat is also interesting.

16:22 – Pearl Palinka

This looks open but perhaps PEARL PALINKA will keep up the good work having ended last season with a maiden win over this trip. There was an excuse for her when she finished behind Red Lacewing at Naas. The form of the valuable 6f Birdcatcher Nursery puts Magniffico and Heart To Heart in the mix. Shoebox King could go well at a decent price.

16:57 – Burren Song (NAP)

Not a particularly competitive handicap and BURREN SONG (nap) is one of the few unexposed sorts. He’s improved since handicapping of late and still looks ahead of his mark. Toreen Angel could be a danger if she gets away on terms and No Show will appreciate a return to further.

17:30 – Shark Bay

Some nice prospects in here but SHARK BAY could be difficult to beat. He had some useful form to his name as a 2yo and there’s every chance that this son of Australia will be improving over this sort of distance as a 3yo. Kaliysta is another who will appreciate more of a stamina test and Glory Daze ran with credit in a Group 3 last season. Any market support for Captain Hornblower would make him interesting on debut.
