The pair with good recent Kempton efforts to their names make most appeal. Dargiannini will go close if staying this trip but preference is for ANNSAM, whose third in a big field was right up to his best.

It will be interesting to see what the betting makes of Quick Draw on his stable debut but his chasing efforts have lacked conviction. It will be no surprise if Kauto The King returns to form and he might be the main threat to DUC DE BEAUCHENE, who will find this far more suitable than the 2m he has raced over in recent starts.

Several of these are in good form. Come On Gruff and Don Alvaro (second choice) both make appeal but BLAIRGOWRIE (nap) should relish this trip and looks ready to gain a belated first success.
