WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
13:00 – Dom Of Mary
Having shaped well on their hurdling debuts, Galway Mahler and Glengeever are respected, but the form choice looks to be DOM OF MARY who was second on his handicap debut last time and may be good enough to go one better in this company. Transatlantic was out of his depth in the Imperial Cup on his first start in Britain but should find this much more suitable and looks the main threat. Newtonian could be thereabouts if his jumping is better this time.
13:30 – FRIEND OR FOE
Only three runners but it would be no surprise to see any of them win and tactics are sure to play a part. The safest option in that respect and on recent form is FRIEND OR FOE, who likes to get on with it and may be able to secure an uncontested lead. Goa Lil may be his chief threat, but Allavina is talented and could have a big say if her jumping improves.
14:05 – Koi Dodville
Although he was beaten 29l in the Triumph Hurdle, KOI DODVILLE had no chance against that calibre of opposition and will surely find this much less demanding. He is not badly treated on his handicap debut and should enjoy underfoot conditions if rain stays away. Brown Bullet ran better last time and may prove the main danger despite the drop back in trip being a slight worry.

14:40 – GIVE ME A MOMENT
Blueberg is worth a second look back from a break on his chase debut but GIVE ME A MOMENT holds appealing claims despite the penalty for his wide-margin win on Saturday. Morgenstern ran a shade flat on Friday but may still be the main danger, as The Cathal Don is still some way off his best form in Ireland.
15:15 – ZESTFUL HOPE
Irish point winner Constant Friday ran much better in his latest handicap hurdle and has a good run in him but ZESTFUL HOPE is taken to improve on his Hereford win over this trip, where he still looked in need of the experience and was hampered, but ran out a convincing winner. Neon Moon is a threat on his best form and is next on the list despite a lesser effort at Newbury recently.

15:50 – Wavecrest
Bold jumping was a feature when WAVECREST (nap) won at Hereford in November and there should be further improvement in him in staying chases. Twenty Twenty could easily have a good run in him back over C&D off a favourable mark but Aeronisi could be the main danger now chasing for a new yard.
16:25 – Rambo T
A shorter than normal distance for a bumper but that should pose no problem for RAMBO T, who has raced keenly in his two promising runs in this sphere and ought to prove too good for these rivals. Sea The Clouds looks the obvious danger, while a good run from the well-bred debutant Inspector Lynley would come as no surprise.
