Dual silver medallist AFTER THE RAIN is taken to go one better, with this new trip likely to be in her favour. Three Priests is feared most, especially if the market speaks positively on her reappearance. Gia Darling, who has thirditis thus far, may have to settle for another bronze medal. Back From Dubai, Calin’s Lad and Abel Handy all have something to recommend them, but YOULLOVEMEWHENIWIN starts out for a new stable off a winning mark and he can gain his second C&D success.

A few possibles, notably Amazing Amaya, Red Alert and Decision Maker, but the ex-Irish DRISH HERO may be the answer. Both his wins in Ireland came at sprint trips and this may prove more suitable than the extended 1m he tackled on last month’s stable debut.

There should be no shortage of pace on here and that may enable ARAMIS GREY to show her true colours. She is preferred to Endowed, with Water Of Leith likely to be running on late.

20:00 Mr Beaufort

Not many that make much appeal and MR BEAUFORT looks to have been found a good opportunity to get off the mark. He shaped with lots of promise in two starts as a juvenile and can exploit stall 1 on his reappearance. Thismydream is a big threat on some of his Irish form but he goes without headgear today and the main danger could come from the consistent Dalby Forest.

20:30 Foreshadow (NAP)

National Charter and Pons Aelius are handicap newcomers from big stables and improvement could be on the cards, but it’s certainly necessary if they’re to come out on top. FORESHADOW (nap) improved for the step up to 1m3f when going close at Southwell last week and is taken to go one better today. Away Wit Da Fairys wasn’t far behind that day but the main threat could come from Myriad, who was undone by a slowly run race last time out. Recent Lingfield winner Jacks Profit is another to consider.
