13:25 – Midnight Toker
Midnight Toker cost €330,000 as a yearling and is a half-brother to three winners, including Back To Brussels, who made a successful debut over five furlongs as a juvenile. Midnight Toker is by Acclamation, a noted source of speed, so he is bred to be sharp, while he also represents a yard that does well with its debutants. In the past five seasons backing Ger Lyons’s debutants would have returned a profit of more than £28 to £1 level stakes.

13:56 – Laugh A Minute
Laugh A Minute is on a losing run that comprises 13 starts and stretches back to April last year, but he is on a fair mark and should be spot on after a recent pipe-opener. Laugh A Minute made no impact at Dundalk but he is entitled to be sharper for that run, which was his first start for four months, and he is of interest on his runner-up efforts at York and Dundalk towards the back-end of last season.
14:31 – Toy
Toy boasts an excellent pedigree, being a daughter of Galileo out of You’resothrilling, which makes her a sister to multiple Group 1 winner Gleneagles, and she created a good impression when runner-up on her debut over this course and distance in October. That form is up there with the best on offer and Toy looks likely to progress, so she stands out as the one to beat.
15:06 – Boundless Ocean
Boundless Ocean showed useful form in three starts as a juvenile and sets a clear standard based on those efforts. Boundless Ocean went down by only a neck on his debut over this course and distance and then looked unlucky not to go close when contesting a Group 3 at Leopardstown just two days later, finishing with running left after meeting trouble. He ran to a similar level when fifth in another Leopardstown Group 3 the following week, and this looks like an excellent opportunity for him to get off the mark.
15:41 – Mother Earth
Mother Earth scored twice at the highest level last season, landing the 1000 Guineas and the Prix Rothschild, and she has comfortably the strongest form on offer. Mother Earth was given a busy campaign last term, running on ten occasions, but she proved a model of consistency and ought to prove a class above these rivals.

16:16 – Star of Cashel
Its the big one, the Paddy Power Irish Lincolnshire (Premier Handicap), and there’s €100,000 up for grabs for the winner.
Star of Cashel shaped well when a close-up fourth in last season’s Irish Lincolnshire and he makes appeal from a 5 lb lower mark this time around on his first start for Ado McGuinness after leaving Fozzy Stack. Star of Cashel has a wide draw to overcome here but he is able to run off his last winning mark and represents an in-form yard, so he makes most appeal in a typically competitive edition of this premier handicap.
16:51 – Jaafel
Jaafel has run well on both outings since joining Denis Hogan from Brian Meehan, finishing runner-up in a couple of maidens at Dundalk, and it looks like he’s been given a fair opening handicap mark based on those efforts. The application of cheekpieces could bring about a bit of improvement while Colin Keane is an eye-catching jockey booking.

17:21 – Florence Thompson
Florence Thompson remains a maiden after 16 starts but she is on a fair mark and holds solid claims in a wide-open sprint handicap. Florence Thompson shaped with promise on her return at Dundalk a couple of weeks ago, travelling fluently before flattening out in the style of one who will come on for the outing. She should be sharper for that and the application of cheekpieces might bring about a better effort.
