Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…

Musselburgh-Racecourse-Jumps-course

13:00 Hereford – Malaita (Racing Ahead)

Grange Road has the best piece of form courtesy of his second at Exeter in November but things haven’t gone smoothly since and his trainer turns to cheekpieces. Getting lots of weight and with a good run here last time behind her, MALAITA is preferred.

15:40 Newton Abbot – Le Cameleon (The Sun)

There are issues with all four scheduled runners. Preference is for LE CAMELEON who showed what he can do on his penultimate start and at least went well for a long way at Kempton last time. Magic Dancer brings much more consistency on this season’s chasing evidence and therefore merits second on the list but the trip is a worry for him. Sending Love and Encounter A Giant need to brush up their jumping.

16:05 Musselburgh – Garde Des Champs (Racing Post)

Hold Onto The Line made a winning handicap debut over C&D last time out and this unexposed 5yo is open to further improvement. However, preference is for GARDE DES CHAMPS, a lightly raced handicap newcomer who was steadily progressive on good/good to soft ground until a blip on soft going last time out in January. He’s had wind surgery since.

18:30 Dundalk – Patrick Street (Yorkshire Evening Post)

The Pat Martin-trained PATRICK STREET made light work of coming up trumps on his recent handicap debut over 7f here, and whilst a 7lb hike in the ratings will be more of a test for him, his riders allowance suggests he could still be a step ahead of the game. Satin Snake and Dubirango are feared along with from an in-form yard Say It So.
