Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.
Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.
So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…
Wind Tor has every chance of following up her recent C&D success but MADERA MIST should give her plenty to think about if ready to rock after her spell on the sidelines.
The unknown quantity in an open race is the ex-French 8yo Ecume Atlantique who returns from a lengthy absence with his new stable in top form. He’s much feared but a viable alternative is ZALVADOS whose latest Hereford fourth is working out well. Dr Sanderson and Destin D’Ajonc, both successful relatively recently, complete the shortlist.

With the tongue-tie retained, ARDMAYLE may be able to follow up his Southwell success and make it a much shorter period between drinks this time. Heritier (second choice) and Coolmoyne are comparatively unexposed and look likely dangers, while Begoodtoyourself can’t be dismissed back on forecast better ground.
This will be his third race in four weeks, so there is a danger that it will come too soon, but if MISE RAFTAIRE repeats his form today he could break his duck, with the shorter trip to suit. Though the gamble on Aodhan May over C&D last time went astray, she is still interesting, while Gargouille could be improving.
