14:20 Wincanton – Ballyblack (myracing.com)
Electric Annie makes obvious appeal as she bids to complete a course hat-trick but slight preference is for the potential of handicap debutant BALLYBLACK, who has made a good start to his rules career. Guernesey is likely to run well again.

15:20 Southwell – Boombawn (Western Morning News)
Only three to realistically consider, and with Fortunedefortunata and Parliament Hill (returning from wind surgery) carrying penalties, this race looks cherry ripe for BOOMBAWN. Dan Skelton’s runner has demonstrated a reasonably solid level of ability and should prove ideally suited by the return to forecast faster ground.
15:40 Plumpton – Captain Tommy (Morning Star)
Flying Verse has the ability to go well off this sort of mark and he is respected, while Friends Don’t Ask will find this more suitable than his latest assignment and he has claims if tuned up after four months off. Multiple C&D winner I See You Well is of obvious interest but CAPTAIN TOMMY shaped better last time and he is marginally preferred.
