Dan Skelton’s runner has demonstrated a reasonably solid level of ability and should prove ideally suited by the return to forecast faster ground.

15:40 Plumpton – Captain Tommy (Morning Star)

Flying Verse has the ability to go well off this sort of mark and he is respected, while Friends Don’t Ask will find this more suitable than his latest assignment and he has claims if tuned up after four months off. Multiple C&D winner I See You Well is of obvious interest but CAPTAIN TOMMY shaped better last time and he is marginally preferred.
