13:30 Cheltenham – Galopin Des Champs (Dan Collins)
Two potential superstars here but Galopin Des Champs’ jumping can really get Bob Olinger under pressure, with the softening ground also bringing his stamina into play. A match to saviour and hopefully it delivers.
14:10 Cheltenham – Third Wind (Adam Killeen)
Third Wind ran a cracker to be 4th in this race two years ago, returns here off the same mark and he looks overpriced in this with the ground coming right for him. With firms offering enhanced place terms I would hope he can reward each way support in this contest.

15:30 Cheltenham – Thyme Hill (Sam Kirwan)
Out of process of elimination I have landed on Thyme Hill. There’s plenty of tricky horses at the top of the market, on all known form this lad will just get on with it and run his race. He was a good fourth in the Albert Bartlett two years ago. He has plenty of other bits of course form, he looks solid in a race where many look to be their own worst enemies.
16:10 Cheltenham – The Glancing Queen (Niall O’ Reilly)
The Glancing Queen won’t be impacted by the ground and the form of her second in the Dipper was strongly franked today by L’Homme Presse today and would suggest that a mark of 141 is very lenient. Granted normal luck in running, she should be tough to beat.

16:50 Cheltenham – Party Central (Frank Hickey)
Party Central was a useful bumper horse, winning at Listed Level while just being touched off by Grangee in a Grade 2 at Leopardstown. She hit the front too early that day and probably was the best horse in the race and she was well ahead of the re-opposing Brandy Love that day. She is a tricky ride, as she doesn’t do a tap in front but I would expect Davy Russell to switch her off in mid division and expect her to be travelling powerfully coming down the hill. She will need delivering late but I think she has more than enough ability to win this and she is a very fair price.
16:50 Cheltenham – Hors Piste (Ryan McCue)
With the ground looking testing all day at Cheltenham I don’t expect it to improve too drastically for tomorrow and so Hors Piste looks to have a big e/w chance in the Mares Novice race. She won easily at Clonmel last time on heavy ground and the horse that finished second won a handicap since. She’ll have to improve on that run but has the potential.
