17:14 – LOPES DANCER
A tricky opener with the narrow vote in favour of veteran LOPES DANCER. Successful from a 4 lb higher mark over this course and distance last year, he added to his tally in a Wolverhampton claimer on his penultimate start. Far from disgraced since coming fourth to Colinton in a handicap, he can go well again. Motarajja and Leopolds Rock are just a couple of others to consider.
17:45 – PALLAS DANCER
PALLAS DANCER ended last year on the up, landing back-to-back all-weather handicaps, and he continued the good work when beaten by a neck by Wise Eagle over greater distance here two weeks ago. Appealing as he is still being on a handy mark, he gets the narrow vote to come out on top again, possibly at the chief expense of recent course-and-distance winner Broken Rifle. Dragons Will Rise completes the shortlist.

18:15 – DIDEROT
DIDEROT has made a smashing start for James Ferguson. He was successful at Chelmsford in January before before putting in an even better effort when runner-up to another smart sort in My Oberon in a minor event at Southwell last time. He appeals given he’s still on a handy mark and gets the nod to come out on top in a good-quality handicap. Fellow in-form rival Imperial Command and low-mileage Flyin’ High head up the dangers.
18:45 – SAORLA
SAORLA stepped up on her debut effort. That was despite still showing signs of greenness when runner-up in a Wolverhampton maiden last month. With the prospect of more to come, she could be the answer. Outsmart proved consistent as a two-year-old and is a player, whilst Wheal Kitty can also get in the mix.

19:15 – EL BELLO
EL BELLO had his Wolverhampton form boosted by the runner-up Subjective Value winning next time, so a 1 lb rise looks lenient for that neck success last month. He can follow up. Definitive Force has run a couple of good races here since joining Alice Haynes and can give the selection the most to do ahead of the returning Liamarty Dreams.
19:45 – RED ALLURE
RED ALLURE hasn’t won for just over a year but she has been in decent form this winter, making the frame more often than not. A switch to Rebecca Menzies could just give her that bit extra needed to get her head back in front. Thriving pair Atrafan and Million Reasons head the dangers along with I Know How.
