William Buick has his first couple of rides back over here after another successful winter in Dubai and he can post an easy success on KING OF TIME who’s bidding to maintain his 100% record. He was green and babyish when winning over course in distance but was never fully extended and it can be the start of the championship run for his rider.

14:40 Wolverhampton – HAPPY POWER 

HAPPY POWER looks to retain all his enthusiasm and rounded off last season with an excellent run, not beaten far after a slow start in the British champions sprint at Ascot behind Creative Force. That’s top class form coming into this contest on his first try on the all-weather. He went over to Riyadh chasing the money and put up a good performance when finishing sixth and picking up £22,000. He can light up Wolverhampton in listed company and will be seen back up in grade before long.

14:56 Lingfield – STREET PARADE

This represents only the second time STREET PARADE has dipped his toe down into Classix company and last time at Chelmsford he was off a little absence, so will be much sharper today with the experience rider taking over in the saddle. Although done no favours with the draw, he will be dropped in and ridden cold anyway. The yards last five runners have all been competitive. 

16:41 Lingfield – PLUPERFECT

Get the blinkers on for the first time and it looks a perfect opportunity for PLUPERFECT to finally break her duck. She needs that elusive victory as she has a wonderful pedigree and can go onto her second job in the paddocks, only just failing by half the length last time to Shorts On, who ran in a much higher grade on Thursday and put up a good performance. So the form looks strong.
