13:50 – Explosive Boy (nap)

A bang average contest but a few with chances. Yabo might not be far away if returning to her Fairyhouse form, while Galon De Vauzelle should be thereabouts. The one that makes most appeal is EXPLOSIVE BOY(nap) who would have finished closer with a bit more luck at Fairyhouse and can land this.

14:25 – Good Bye Sam

If GOOD BYE SAM can reproduce the level of form that saw him chase home Billaway last time, he should be very hard to beat in this company. Beyondthestorm would be capable of having a say on old form and O Mio Babbino arrives on the back of two point wins.

15:00 – Showbusiness

A few of these have claims but if SHOWBUSINESS is fully tuned up for his first run since October, he’s the one to beat after his narrow defeat in maiden hurdle company last time. Kings Keeper is the danger if he builds on his latest placed effort.

15:35 – Frazel Express

This isn’t a competitive handicap and FRAZEL EXPRESS could be worth chancing back on better ground from a good handicap mark. Molly Kaye showed a bit more last time and is another back on a good mark.

16:10 – Mankhool

A weak contest and not many make much appeal. Allbetsoff sets a decent enough standard on his run at Naas last month, but he might be biting off too much in trying to give 12lb to MANKHOOL after her good run at Gowran with the stable really hitting form.

16:45 – Robinstown

Most of these have some sort of chance. Shar Whats Therush runs well fresh and should be a factor. Ernie McCracken is progressive, but the choice is ROBINSTOWN, who has improved since stepping up in trip and would be hard to beat if running to the level of his last two starts.

17:15 – Sir Argus

The betting should reveal plenty, but SIR ARGUS showed enough for Willie Mullins when fourth on his debut at Naas to suggest he can build on that and open his account here. Gordon Elliott’s debutant The Last Mardi is feared most, especially if the market speaks in his favour, while Bellaney Lord has the form to play a part too despite his absence from the track.
