GLENGOULY is fancied to follow up his Gowran success with a fair bit of improvement on the cards from Willie Mullins’ promising 6-y-o. In-form Pinkerton has the form to play a part while Sam’s Choice is another who merits respect in his bid for minor honours.

BONNIE KELLIE proved that her decisive Punchestown success in January was no flash in the pan when third to Two Shoe Tom at Down Royal later that month. She enjoys a handy pull at the weights with that rival here, particularly with her rider’s claim taken into account, and is taken to emerge on top. Golden Spear remains feasibly treated and is next on the list ahead of Kashi and Mastermind.
15:45 – Round The Buoy
A host in with chances but ROUND THE BUOY arrives at the top of his game having won similar big-field handicaps in recent weeks. The handicapper has taken a huge swipe but he may not have finished improving. Siberian Star ran away with what looked a competitive handicap chase here in December so he’s feared most back over timber, ahead of Smash The Lamp and A Different World.

BIG LEG UP made an encouraging return at Navan in January and remains unexposed. He is fancied to score. Quarry Girl and Super Citizen head the list of dangers.
17:20 – Rath Gaul Boy
An intriguing bumper to conclude and one which may be dominated by point recruits, with RATH GAUL BOY getting the nod ahead of Monty’s Star and Champagne Town. Hartur d’Arc and Curley Finger also showed promise on their respective Rules debuts and the betting here will be very interesting.
