WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
12:30 – Pedestal
PEDASTAL arrives in good form and is unexposed beyond 1m, so a third win in five starts is not ruled out, while No Such Luck was clearly far superior to his opponents last time. A 9lb higher mark looks sure to ask questions, however, and preference is for MARIE PARADIS whose win here last time can be marked up slightly. She can defy a 2lb rise and repeat the feat.
13:00 – Carmela Soprano
CARMELA SOPRANO boasts recent winning form and she ought to give it another good go, while Harbour Project and Jeremiah Johnson have been banging at the door of late and also come right into the reckoning. RIVAS ROB ROY has some unappealing form figures but he has tumbled down the weights as a result and the drop into 0-50 company could well spark a revival. The unexposed Waltons Grove needs a close look in the market now faced with a more realistic assignment.
13:35 – Nikkis Girl
NIKKIS GIRL and Nordic Glory bring recent winning form into the contest and both can go well but KINGOFHELL might be the answer. He has been gelded since a satisfactory nursery debut in October and he appeals as the type to take a big step forward this year.

14:10 – Kaths Toyboy
This should be frenetic given there are a couple of very speedy sorts (for the grade) on show. Kodiak Attack has a big chance if ready to roll after an absence, while Shamshon and Mick’s Spirit are both likely to give a good account. KATH’S TOYBOY starts out for his new yard off a career-low mark though and he might get a good tow into this from his inside stall.
14:45 – Chasing Love
The standard set by Wooders Dream and Diligently Done isn’t a demanding one and while both can improve, it may be that CHASING LOVE progresses past them with his debut effort behind him. All Go is a well-related newcomer who needs a market check.
15:20 – Axel Jacklin
On The Nose may have a bigger run in her now she’s starting out for Gary Moore, while Power On is well treated. AXEL JACKLIN (nap) has been in good heart this winter and, back under his ideal conditions, he may be able to come out on top.
15:55 – Monsieur Patat
This looks a minefield with most having plenty to prove. Shadow Angel will go close if reproducing her Chelmsford form at this track. Delagate The Lady and Crunchie have to prove their stamina for 7f and the pair to focus on may be Agent Of Fortune and MONSIEUR PATAT. The latter hasn’t kicked on as once looked likely but this is weak and his return to action in January wasn’t without promise.
16:25 – Induro De Fontaine
The majority of these have already had their limitations exposed but one who hasn’t is INDURO DE FONTAINE. If he can make another step up on what he produced on his handicap debut then this could fall his way. Capricorn Prince and Yorktown are obvious contenders after recent successes and of that pair that latter is just preferred back at this level.
