Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…

NewcastleRacesMar21

13:08 Chepstow – Hacker Des Places (Matt Polley, Ipswich Star)

HACKER DES PLACES is a lightly raced 5yo who was very respectable fourth in valuable handicap at Lingfield (2m, heavy) last month. 3lb lower here and benefits from Angus Cheleda’s very useful 5lb claim this time. A very likely contender.

15:15 Newcastle – Achille (Steve Mullington)

ACHILLE had near misses in two major 3m5f handicaps on soft early last year and he passed plenty of rivals late on when sixth in the 4m2f Midlands National. Was a creditable fourth in the Welsh National (badly hampered at the start) two months ago and he’s 6lb lower today following a tame show behind Eclair Surf at Warwick.

15:37 Kempton – Galahad Quest (Ben Morgan, Racing Ahead)

GALAHAD QUEST is unraced beyond an extended 2m4f and he’s 0-5 in handicaps this season. However, he’s run some solid races (on good-soft), including when second over Cheltenham’s stiff, extended 2m4f last month. This 6yo can be in the mix if finding some improvement for today’s trip, which is definitely possible.

16:10 Kempton – Storm Dennis (Morning Star, Farringdon)

STORM DENNIS is a lightly raced bumper winner who got bogged down in heavy ground on his handicap debut at Plumpton last month but left that behind when winning by 3l at Huntingdon last time. 5lb higher in a better race today but he’s unexposed and open to further improvement.
