13:35 – BARRICHELLO
This is all about BARRICHELLO whose good season got even better at Warwick when he gave weight and a beating to last week’s impressive Ascot handicap winner Good Risk At All. Fringill Dike and Bottle Hill, feared in that order, can take heart that the favourite did fluff his lines when long odds-on for his penultimate start.

14:10 – BLACK PIRATE
The 10yo BLACK PIRATE has been absent since finishing tailed off in this race last year but he goes well fresh and is on an attractive mark. He’s preferred to Cenotice, who arrives in good form. Oscars Leader has also been running well but may prefer a slower surface than the forecast good to soft ground.
14:45 – FONZERELLI
In receipt of weight off probable danger Fairfield Ferrata this looks a good opportunity for FONZERELLI, whose latest effort was given a bit of a boost earlier this week. So They Say is the other runner who might get involved.

15:15 – WIN MY WINGS (NAP)
Eclair Surf ran away with the 3m5f Classic at Warwick last time but today’s rivals include several fascinating candidates with plenty of potential for long distances. Irish challenger History Of Fashion finished well on top in his only handicap, while Danilo D’Airy, a revelation already, could easily have more to give. Rath An Iuir would have more to prove away from soft or heavy ground but he is probably a stayer in the making and should be fitter since his reappearance. Preference, though, ahead of History Of Fashion, is for WIN MY WINGS (nap) who was back on song on her latest outing with a second performance which points to a serious stamina test being the way forward.
15:50 – SINCE DAY ONE
16:25 – DO YOUR JOB
An on-song Debece would be a danger to all but he has become risky business when it’s impossible to know with confidence how he’ll run. DO YOUR JOB wasn’t at his best last time either but his previous second to the Arkle favourite Edwardstone represents strong form, on which he’s well handicapped.
17:00 – HUNGRY TIGER
A few with chances but HUNGRY TIGER has found some consistency and this looks a bit easier than of late. Tomasso and Myburg won last time in the style of horses capable of going in again and they’re next best.
