Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.
WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.
So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…
15:05 Warwick – Legends Ryde (Ben Morgan)
LEGENDS RYDE was comfortable winner on chasing debut at Ffos Las (3m, soft) and she bumped into the highly progressive L’Homme Presse at Ascot next time. If a poor run at Lingfield last month was just a blip, she should go well with her stable in fine form.
15:20 Exeter – Dan McGrue (Weekender, Paul Kealy)
Yet to win in seven attempts for this stable but DAN McGRUE appeared to excel himself when third of four in a Class 2 conditions race at Lingfield last month (all three rivals rated 140+); overall profile suggests he was flattered but the figures give him major claims back in a handicap.
15:50 Exeter – Truckin Away (Andy Morris)
TRUCKIN AWAY won off this mark in December 2020 but has been a bit below par this season. Expecting him to return to his best.
19:15 Wolverhampton – Dark Company (Andrew Mount)
Not the easiest of rides but DARK COMPANY did get stuck in when winning at Southwell in January (1m) and had run creditably over the extended 1m1f here previously. Dropped right out after making the running at Newcastle last week (first-time blinkers, discarded) but thereabouts on earlier runs.
