17:30 – VINDOBALA
A few runners of interest, notably the returning Saisons D’Or and the unexposed Clear Angel, but with a good pace looking likely, this can be the day for VINDOBALA (nap) to show her true colours. She has been expensive to follow since her C&D win in December but she still appeals as being ahead of her mark. Abnaa is another who could find this being run to suit and he’s a respected danger.

18:00 – FAST AND LOOSE
Queen Aminatu’s debut effort was full of promise and she should have no problem with today’s drop to 6f but she’s up against an interesting rival in FAST AND LOOSE. Kevin Ryan’s 3yo chased home two very useful performers on his sole 2yo start and looks the type to do much better this season. Newcomer Fly To Glory needs a market check too.
18:30 – BLAZING HOT
James Watt is greatly respected back from a break, while Alablaq, Gowanlad and Tathmeen have solid form this winter and all have something to recommend them. BLAZING HOT has won all three of his runs at this trip since joining Grant Tuer and he can extend that run to four here.

19:00 – NOMAN
Fox Power made a perfect start for new connections when dominating a Wolverhampton handicap 17 days ago and this track won’t hold any terrors having won in Listed company here in his youth. Year Of The Dragon, Lammas and Coase all come into the reckoning but NOMAN is the most interesting contender and his opening mark perhaps underestimates his potential.
19:30 – RAYDOUN
This looks a much stronger affair than the one that Another Bertie won at Southwell 11 days ago and the 6lb penalty could find him out. Fristel and Profit And Loss both have something to recommend them back at a sprint trip but it might be worth siding with RAYDOUN. Although not progressing, his best runs have come at this trip and he’s well handicapped on those peak efforts. The drop to Class 6 company could be the catalyst for a return to top form.
20:00 – NELLIE FRENCH
Amazing Amaya ran into one at Wolverhampton ten days ago and she’s a strong candidate, while Blackcurrent, Tanasoq and Joshua R are all capable of going well. The last-named went down narrowly at the hands of NELLIE FRENCH here last time and Katie Scott’s mare may well follow up despite a 3lb rise.
