An open race. VIA DOLOROSA knew how to win in France and he twice ran well over the big Aintree fences before failing to stay a marathon trip last time. I K Brunel is feared most ahead of Bobhopeornohope and Kilbrook, who are both possible improvers at this trip.
16:10 Neon Moon (NAP)
This is a deeper race than the one NEON MOON (nap) won last week at Plumpton but he did so very easily and may well follow up. Glencassley ran well at Doncaster and this could be his optimum trip, while handicap debutant Lounge Lizard is also of interest for his in-form stable.

With the Bailey horses back in better form it would be no surprise to see STARVOSKI run her best race yet over fences, and she’s well handicapped on what she achieved over hurdles. Heronord is in an easier race than last time and heads the dangers, along with Majestic Merlin and Folly Gate.

Reilly may prove hard to beat if he can leave behind his dismal Bangor effort but PULLING STUMPS, a solid third here last month, looks a safer option.
