Taunton 13:20 – Honestlyntrufully

Honestlyntrufully took a step in the right direction on his handicap debut at Plumpton last month, keeping on nicely in second behind the gambled-on winner. The way he stuck to his task there suggests he should have no problem with this step up in trip to two miles and three furlongs, and it would be no surprise were he to improve again, keeping in mind his lightly-raced profile.

Taunton 13:55 – Lady Adare

Lady Adare landed a gamble when winning a Newcastle bumper on her debut for Micky Hammond and she has made a promising start over hurdles for Harry Fry, winning at Uttoxeter and Newcastle. She was made to work harder than expected when long odds-on at Newcastle last time but she is better judged on what she showed on her hurdling debut at Uttoxeter, when she readily drew seven lengths clear in a race that has worked out well. She has a touch of class and can extend her unbeaten record.

Taunton 14:30 – Jeremy The Jinn

Jeremy The Jinn made a successful start to his career when landing a bumper at Market Rasen in May, and he wasn’t disgraced when sixth in a much stronger event on his reappearance at Cheltenham in October. Jeremy The Jinn shaped with promise when third over this course and distance on his debut over hurdles in December, going as well as the first two on the approach to the second-last before inexperience counted against him. He is entitled to improve for that outing and is up to winning a maiden hurdle.

Taunton 15:05 – Premiumaccess

Premiumaccess caught the eye when third on his reappearance at Fontwell a couple of weeks ago and he should come on for that run, which was his first start in 11 months. The way Premiumaccess went through most of the race gave the impression that he’s on a competitive mark, and he was still in contention until making a mistake at the second-last. He was unable to make an impact from that point, shaping like the absence told, but he should be fitter now and has been eased 2 lb in the weights.

Taunton 15:40 – Fontana Ellissi

Fontana Ellissi cashed in on a falling mark to open his account for Sam Drinkwater at Ffos Las three weeks ago and he still appeals as being well treated despite going up 5 lb in the weights. Fontana Ellissi had been disappointing on his first three starts for Drinkwater, but he took a step forward at Ffos Las, sticking to his task well to get up close home and win by a length. This is tougher but he is back in decent form and looks up to the challenge.

Taunton 16:15 – Queen Of The Court

Winning pointer Queen Of The Court has quickly shown herself to be a better chaser than hurdler and she registered a wide-margin win here on her second start over fences under Rules. She followed up that authoritative success with a creditable third off a 10 lb higher mark at Huntingdon last month, shaping like she remains in form, and given how strongly she travels she could have even more to offer now that she drops in trip. This is not a strong race and it looks like a good opportunity for her to resume winning ways.

Taunton 16:50 – Lazy Sunday

Lazy Sunday had been given a breathing operation prior to her latest effort at Fontwell and, fitted with a tongue tie for the first time, she produced her best effort yet to finish runner-up. Lazy Sunday went through most of the race like a mare ahead of her handicap mark and she traded at a short price in-running after kicking clear on the home turn. She ultimately had to settle for second, but it was still an encouraging effort and she probably has more to offer after only five starts.
