12:50 Addingham
There looks nothing sinister about the fitting of a hood on ADDINGHAM as he seemed to try hard enough when just missing out here last time. Fozzie Bear is now exposed and has stamina to prove, while City Spirit probably needs to improve on her last run and Tattered Flag definitely does. Lost Of Love could be the danger on his debut with Ryan Moore booked.

13:25 State Legend (NAP)
James Ferguson’s STATE LEGEND (nap) looked progressive in winning at Wolverhampton and he earns preference over Kissininthebackrow who should improve for this longer trip. Mashkuur is the other likely player.
14:00 Mr Mac
Most of these have weak claims so it looks worth taking a chance on MR MAC’s stamina as he does at least know how to win and has come home strongly in his latest two runs over 1m here. City Escape has run well in all three C&D starts and can prove the main danger although Pilot Wings would make some appeal if there is a market move for him. Marie Paradis has not had many chances and is also considered.

14:35 Henley Park
Cafe Sydney and Miss Sligo should have a big shout but preference is for HENLEY PARK who was only recently off the mark but might just have turned over a new leaf. Marchetti is second on the list, going back up to a trip which is more in tune with his pedigree.
15:10 Chrysos
Mizmar should go close now armed with plenty of experience but CHRYSOS was a very expensive recruit and his debut was better than perhaps it would appear at first glance. Canny Fettle is the other one to be interested in.

15:45 Pirate King
This is very competitive despite the small field and there’s a risk of no pace unless Celtic Art goes on again, and he couldn’t exploit a soft lead last week. PIRATE KING should go well off his last winning mark and he’s preferred to Morlaix, but tactics will be key to the outcome.
16:20 Whittle Le Woods
Mick Appleby’s WHITTLE LE WOODS will need some luck if held up (or slowly away) from the inside stall but fingers crossed there will be plenty of pace on and he appeals as a horse with more to offer for his new connections. Shoot To Kill only seems to do enough in his races and could still be on a decent mark. Tinker Toy has been favourite for his three wins so monitor the market now that he’s gelded.
16:55 Extracuricular
A trappy betting with not a recent win in sight. EXTRACURICULAR is at least knocking on the door and is well drawn to get a good position. Maahi Ve is next best ahead of Jack Ryan and Julie Johnston. On The Nose is the dark one.
