There’s Grade 2 action at Sandown as seven runners go to post in the Jane Seymour Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle at 2.20pm. Nina The Terrier will attempt to reverse the form with Haute Estime after a ½l last time out. Clonmel‘s card, meanwhile, is headlined by the Grade 3 Surehaul Mercedes-Benz Novice Hurdle as Gordon Elliott’s Mr Fred Rogers attempts to score for a third time this season.
There’s also National Hunt racing at Fontwell and Leicester. The day’s fixtures are rounded off by a twilight meeting on the all-weather track at Chelmsford.
