13:17 – Lubeat Foras

A fine third at Doncaster on his latest comeback effort proved that LUBEAT FORAS is not solely reliant on the sharp tracks of his point and bumper successes, and with the likelihood of more to come if jumping better and hanging less he’s not at all hard to recommend. Phantom Getaway didn’t miss by much at Ludlow last time and should appreciate the extra yardage, the latter comment also true of Sam’s The Man and Dreams Of Diamonds.

13:52 – Drash On Ruby

This would be an easier assignment than a couple here have undertaken of late, notably DRASH ON RUBY, last seen failing to see it out at Exeter but taken to benefit from drops in both trip (3f) and especially class (from 0-125) here. Another down in distance, Gosuatri is preferred to Petty Cash as next best, whilst the suspicion remains there could still be a big run in the persevered-with Gino Wotimean off a tumbling mark.

14:27 – Pride of Lecale

Although PRIDE OF LECALE has not had the easiest of careers he is a useful performer when on song and things finally came right for him when he impressed in just his second chase start last month. Unexposed Yggdrasil looks the main danger, having won with a bit in hand at Bangor, with Soldier Of Destiny, on his handicap debut, and Nikap, back over fences, next on the list.

15:02 – Eureka Creek

Emma Lavelle’s EUREKA CREEK bumped into a smart mare at Exeter last time and it would appear there’s nothing of the same quality lurking here. Good Look Charm is the pick of the penalised pair and she’s feared most.

15:37 – Fairlawn Flyer (NAP)

Peter Bowen’s FAIRLAWN FLYER (nap) was strong up the home straight when making it 2-2 over C&D a month ago and he looks progressive. The runner-up Alkopop is entitled to make a race of it with his 7lb pull, while Dock Road is a possible improver now sent over a trip he’s bred for.

16:07 – Feivel

Crossing The Bar remains of interest off his current mark but his pulled-up run at Wincanton suspends enthusiasm for now. Sabbathical has been very consistent at 2m but there are doubts about the return to 2m4f, whereas it should suit the resolute FEIVEL who has won over this far and kept on stoutly over 1m7f at Haydock recently. Minnie Escape ran well here last week and may be the best forecast option.

16:40 – Hazzaar

Envoye Special will surely win over regulation fences at some point but on soft ground preference is for HAZZAAR, who produced a good winning performance in handicap company only last May. Pure Vision is also likely to make his presence felt.
