It’s a match with Fil D’or, and based on what Pied Piper did at Cheltenham, Vauban is very decent having run him close. I also think Leopardstown might suit Vauban better as Fil D’or will love the really long straight in Cheltenham come March.
14:10 – Riviere D’Etel
Should be nearly favourite for this on a line through Ferny Hollow, I’m guessing Ferny Hollow is a good bit ahead of Blue Lord, so Riviere D’Etel the one to beat in my book.
14:45 – Dunboyne
Was eyecatching behind Panda Boy the last day in what was probably a prep for today, was hampered by a loose horse and then stayed on well and wasn’t penalised by the handicapper for it.

I didn’t think I’d be tipping Janidil, but I think there is so much pace in the race that it could fall apart late on and a closer like Janidil could pick up the pieces.

He’s 7lb higher now than when he won here at Christmas, with ground conditions similar he could be a bit of value to follow up.
