So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…

13:30 Lingfield – Silastar (Morning Star, Farringdon)

SILASTAR was 1m4f turf winner when trained in France but struggled both on the Flat and over hurdles in his first two starts for trainer Gary Moore. Offered more encouragement in his latest effort over an inadequate 1m at Chelmsford (Polytrack). The slight drop in grade and return to further is both in his favour today.

15:10 Catterick – Minella Plus (The Guardian)

Like so many from his yard, MINELLA PLUS is having an excellent season and he completed a hat-trick on his handicap debut at Musselburgh in December, again making all. His previous win came over this C&D on good ground. Now more is required under top weight but it’s unlikely we’ve seen the best of him yet.

16:20 Wincanton – Labei Vitesse (Steve Mullington)

LABEI VITESSE is out of same owner’s multiple Grade 2 hurdle winner Labelthou but makes his debut as an 8yo.

17:00 Kempton – Take A Stand (Daily Telegraph, Marlborough)

TAKE A STAND is the second foal of a Listed-placed 7f winner (RPR 97). Will be no surprise were this debutant to play a prominent role.
