RUBY WALSH:
“Willie Mullins has Stattler and En Beton near the top of the betting for the National Hunt Chase. However, I don’t think either of those have the profile to win this race. When you look at Willie’s two winners of this race – Back In Focus in 2013 and Rathvinden in 2018 – they both had far more runs than Stattler and En Beton.
“The only Willie runner that possibly has the age and the experience is Ontheropes. He finished sixth behind Fury Road in a Novice Chase at Leopardstown over Christmas. You need a hardened horse to win this race.

“For that reason, all signs point to Run Wild Fred. He’s had 10 runs over fences and he’s seasoned. He may well end up in the Browns Advisory Novices Chase on the Wednesday but to me he looks the most likely winner of Tuesday’s National Hunt Chase for amateur riders over 3m 6f, if he lines up in it.”
