Across The Nile is weighted to reverse last week’s placings with the penalised Never Said Nothing in a trappy affair in which none of the seven can be ruled out. Distinction won’t mind the return to further if the visor works as well again but a chance is taken on ELIXSOFT, who ran well from a wide stall at Southwell last time and likes it here.

This is a higher grade for FAMOUS STAR (nap) but it’s still hard to ignore her claims given she escapes a penalty for her cosy handicap debut success over C&D at the beginning of last week. Nate The Great may give her most to do.
19:00 – Lorna Cole
Thegreyvtrain looks sure to go well and this week’s win could do wonders for The Tron. However, LORNA COLE has a similar chance to the latter on C&D form in November and cheekpieces worked well for her when they were first fitted last February. With Hollie Doyle up for the first time she should have a good run in her.
19:30 – Emerald Lady
No previous winners in here, the nine being the losers of 63 races between them, and the market should help, with five making their handicap debut. Al Tilal did better for her new yard last time, when drawn away from the action at Southwell, but EMERALD LADY has run well on all three starts, having valid excuses each time, and she gets the nod.
20:00 – Share The Profits
Mr Ginja Ninja was sent off favourite for the race won by SHARE THE PROFITS at Southwell last month and he may get closer to that rival today but William Knight’s filly was well on top at the finish and she can make light of her 6lb rise. Accelerando and Alaskan Jewel can also make their presence felt.
