Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.
So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…
LETTIE LUTZ went close in point bumper last winter and has made frame in 2m novice hurdles at Chepstow and Exeter, fourth of 18 in latter. The selection should be at least as effective over today’s longer trip and is open to improvement on handicap debut.
CHAMPAGNE COURT has been beaten 12 times since his last win in November 2019 but he’s been in good form back over hurdles this autumn, twice finishing placed (2m3f/2m4f, soft), and he can give another solid account today.
BOSTON JOE showed promise when third in an Irish point and mid-division in a bumper, but he was beaten some way out when 47l fifth in 2m1f maiden hurdle at Bangor (16-1) five weeks ago. This longer trip should suit but he has lots to find.
All five of NAPPER TANDY’S runs have been on AW with wins at Kempton (1m) and Newcastle (1m4f) in two of his first four starts but he finished fifth of six behind Bascule in a C&D handicap last month.
