The suggestion is SPARKLE IN HIS EYE who, judged on his 2019 form for William Haggas, should have a big chance in this grade. Potential improver Cents In The City is second choice. Rose Of Lancashire has possibilities if building on last week’s effort, while Golden Age and Copake are other maidens who can’t be dismissed at this level.

This has the look of a shoot-out between Sophosc and THIS ONES FOR FRED. Given the comfortable manner of his success last time, the latter is just preferred. Eagle One and Baileys Warrior may battle out the minor honours.
