ITV coverage Friday gets under way here with a handicap chase over an extended 2m4f. It’s hard to get away from the claims of the improving FONTAINE COLLONGES for Venetia Williams and Charlie Deutsch. My selection was too good for the re-opposing Precious Eleanor at Warwick past time and while the latter is 4lb better off at the weights I expect the form to be upheld. The Williams mare has only had nine races at the age of six and conditions are ideal.
ITV also show one race from Bangor on Friday, namely this handicap hurdle over 2m7f. TEDHAM has been in desperate form for Jonjo O’Neill and has more letters than numbers next to his name. That said, the seven-year-old is very well handicapped and might be able to return to form off this mark.
Now a Grade 3 handicap chase over 3m2f. I tipped up Enrilo in the Ladbrokes Trophy and I was gutted when he fell as he was still going strongly. This time I just wonder if the bet should be MISTER FOGPATCHES each way for Pat Fahy and Danny Mullins. My hope might have a fitness advantage and is in great form after placed efforts in the Troytown at Navan and Cork Grand National. He was also third in the Scottish National. He should give us a good run.

Cross Country Handicap Chase here over 3m6f. PLAN OF ATTACK is the each-way bet here for Henry de Bromhead and Darragh O’Keeffe. The former Kim Muir fourth is not a bad stayer on his day and ran well at this track when fourth behind Back on the Lash over these fences last month. He should improve for that first effort since Galway in July.

A handicap hurdle over 3m. Sporting John is the class act here, but I’m backing ASK DILLON each way for Fergal O’Brien and Max Kendrick. He’s 6lb lower than his highest mark of 148 and is a very strong stayer. A winner at this track in April of this year the trip and ground are ideal and don’t forget this is an animal who managed to finish sixth in the Pertemps Final. He’s a tough cookie.
So best of luck and pray for Yeeehaaas. You hear me Paddy?
