Still seeking a first career win for Colin Tizzard, he looks the type to make a better chaser and could well make his debut over fences a winning one.

MIRANDA won this mares’ handicap hurdle last year under conditional Angus Cheleda and, while she’s giving plenty of weight away to most of these, the same partnership should take plenty of beating again after Miranda made a pleasing comeback in a listed race at Wetherby.

SWITCH HITTER can give in-form Paul Nicholls and Bryony Frost another win after their Tingle Creek success on Saturday. The top-weight has always looked a chasing type and he duly made a winning debut over fences over this trip at Hereford last month. With more to come, he should prove too good for more established rivals.
14:30 – Son Of Camas
SON OF CAMAS looks worth chancing in a trappy four-runner contest. The Nicky Henderson gelding comes back down in trip after finishing fourth in a more competitive race at Sandown last time when appearing to take a step back in the right direction after an absence, while a 4 lb lower mark here is another plus.
15:00 – Canastero
Last-time-out winner CANASTERO looks the answer to an open-looking handicap hurdle for conditional jockeys. He got the better of subsequent scorer Macho Mover when returning from five months off at Stratford last time and a 3 lb rise in the weights looks manageable.
