Each and every day of the racing calendar we bring you a punt-packed NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the picks you’ll require for that day.
Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.
So, we decided to put that great guide to work for us, so we’re going to use it to point you in the direction what could be a smart Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…
MARILYN MONROE may have made mistakes at Hereford yesterday, but Anthony Honeyball charge is a previous Bumper/hurdles winner. She was granted a soft lead over fences at Wincanton last week and got into a good rhythm, going on to win by three-quarters of a length.
A winner in France early in his career, ON A SESSION’s previous outing over this course and distance on the all-weather was a very encouraging second back in March. You’d expect David Barron’s gelding to make a bold bid here again, and he certainly has the ability to score on this mark.
MUMS TIPPLE was a classy operator at his peak, picking up wins at Ascot, York and over the all-weather surface at Wolverhampton. That’s why you can’t rule him out against this company and we’re giving the Richard Hannon-trained runner the nod.
KINDERFRAU steps up in trip here for trainer Brett Johnson. The filly didn’t have her best outing when she was seventh of 13 at Kempton in handicap last month, but she was left poor placed that day. Hopefully, she should come on from that run in this one.
