14:00 Doitforandrew

It might be worth taking a chance on DOITFORANDREW. He showed ability earlier in the campaign and with potential improvement coming over this new trip following a gelding procedure, he might be able to get off the mark. Thismydream leads the way on ratings but he’s probably flattered by a 5l defeat in Listed class on his penultimate start. Hernes Hill and Together Aclaim have both shown a fair amount of promise in a couple of recent maidens here.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

14:30 Hot Bell

A typically open race for a handicap at this venue but a chance is taken on HOT BELL who has been going close on turf of late and she has an ideal draw for her AW debut. Ampeson went close here last time and is another to consider and Kudbegood might get involved if he handles the return to 7f.

15:00 Tony The Gent

Just as competitive as the first division of this handicap. TONY THE GENT isn’t the easiest to catch right but he could be hard to beat if he builds on a big run here last week. Designer Cailin is an obvious threat in her hat-trick bid and Rosie Rock is another in-form filly to consider.

15:30 Marsa

Last week’s winner MARSA will need a bit more this time from 5lb higher but she shapes like a drop to 6f could yield some improvement and she gets a tentative vote. Sangria probably would have still prevailed with the extra 2lb of weight on her back when disqualified last time so she warrants respect and Obtain is another nice prospect.

16:00 Pillar

He’s likely to be much shorter than 80-1 this time but PILLAR may be worth supporting after his narrow defeat over C&D on Friday and he’s able to race off the basement mark again. Eglish had excuses when fourth here last week and she’s another to consider but Collective Power could be the main danger if he can build on his recent course maiden win.

16:30 Futurum Regem (NAP)

Given that FUTURUM REGEM (nap) won with notable ease over hurdles at Navan on Sunday he may take advantage of his basement 45 rating. He finished fifth to Yamato on his last Flat start but that rival is now 12lb higher and did not have much to spare over Annecherie when second here last time. Sil Ver Klass comes into the reckoning after his second over hurdles at Navan on Sunday.

17:00 Seattle Creek

Luke Comer has trained 11 Flat winners from 497 runs over the past five Irish seasons. Four of those have come in the last fortnight, and SEATTLE CREEK needs only to run close to the form of last month’s Curragh second to continue the winning streak. Dances With Stars, second on all four runs here last winter, may have to settle for the same place now. Eagle Terrace has may do better than on his Irish debut.

17:30 King Lenox

It may be worth taking a chance with KING LENOX who ran well off higher marks at this venue around this time last year and has managed a few good runs over hurdles in 2021. Top-weight Bora Bora seems to be getting the hang of things and is interesting with Sam Ewing taking off 5lb. Cannoli could feature with the help of a 10lb claim. The complexion of the race would change if Dr Patrick gets a run.
