Petrossian won a Newbury bumper very stylishly last November and, although that form has taken some knocks, he ought to have a good future over jumps.

The one with the best chance on the figures is Sebastopol, who was very consistent over hurdles in the early part of this season and stuck to his task pretty well when second in a recent Grade 2 novice chase at Cheltenham.
However, he may be slightly flattered by the bare form of his latest run and is opposed with ATHOLL STREET, who looked an exciting novice hurdler at around this time last year and may not have been suited by the idiosyncratic track when beaten on his chasing debut at Fakenham. Rockstar Ronnie has the worst chance at the weights, but his course and distance win two weeks ago still earns him significant respect.
13:50 My Sister Sarah
Willie Mullins has spotted a good opportunity for MY SISTER SARAH to collect her second Listed hurdle win and she can make the journey from Ireland worthwhile. Dragon Bones returned from a break with a good effort in defeat at Cheltenham last month and might still be improving. Last year’s runner-up Getaway Totherock hasn’t raced again since , but should also feature.
14:25 The Unit
Gortroe Joe will be a tough nut to crack if matching the form he showed when second at Market Rasen two starts ago, but he’s likely to face competition for the early lead from Mercian Prince and/or Vision Des Flos, and it’s hard to tell who will seize the initiative.
Perhaps it might be worth chancing THE UNIT, who was out of form when we last saw him but will be very well suited by today’s conditions and has become very well handicapped.
14:55 Khan
There ought to be some improvement to come from Kim Bailey’s handicap debutant Inca Rose, while useful chaser Mellow Ben reverts to hurdling on a tempting mark and also looks interesting. However, the most obvious answer is former Group 1 Flat winner KHAN, who has been in very good form over hurdles in recent weeks.
15:25 See The Sea
Resurgent mare SEE THE SEA (NAP) made all three consecutive times under Peter Kavanagh last month and, with conditions in her favour again here, she can extend her winning spree. Timberman ran well in defeat at Cheltenham last month and is feared most while course and distance winner Paso Doble remains unexposed over hurdles. Pretty good cases can also be made for Just The Man and Son Of Red.
