We’ve got the cream of the crop when it comes to tipsters here at Paddy Power News. The likes of Matt Chapman and Mick Fitzgerald regularly give you the inside scoop on who to back – and this weekend is no different!

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

It’s a bumper day of racing on Saturday in the United Kingdom as Ascot and Haydock both host brilliant National Hunt cards. A pair of Grade 2s co-headline the show at Ascot, while there’s Grade 1 action in the form of the Betfair Chase at Haydock.

We’re going to use our brilliant tipping columns to point you in the direction of what could be a smart Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). Let’s get to the bets…

13:50 HAYDOCK – BRAVEMANSGAME (MICK FITZGERALD)

If you could guarantee me a clean round of jumping from Itchy Feet, I would take him to upset the likely odds-on favourite with his experience. The problem is he can make too many mistakes. You can’t do that at the top level and get away with it.

BRAVEMANSGAME was foot perfect at Newton Abbot and can only be better for that experience. He put up a very good performance on good ground last season at Newbury, so Saturday’s conditions won’t bother. We need to see a good showing from him to bolster the home challenge for the Festival next March.

14:05 ASCOT DEFI DU SEUIL (TIMEFORM)

DEFI DU SEUIL has something to prove after a disappointing campaign but he is the class act in the field and is worth siding with after a break. Defi du Seuil has bounced back from a disappointing campaign before – he made little impact on either start in the season following his juvenile campaign – and he returns with the Philip Hobbs team going well and among the winners. He should be too good for these if rejuvenated after a break.

14:40 ASCOT – BUZZ (MATT CHAPMAN)

A Grade 2 hurdle event over an extended 2m 3f. BUZZ is very exciting and should get a strong gallop to run at. The Nicky Henderson runner, ridden by Nico de Boinville, did this column a right turn when landing the Cesarewitch and he might turn into a Stayers’ Hurdle horse this term. However, he’s not devoid of speed and can come slicing through late here.

15:00 HAYDOCK – IMPERIAL AURA (PADDY POWER)

Bristol De Mai will be ready to rock but a few of the others mightn’t be fully wound up. IMPERIAL AURA goes well fresh and has had a wind op so I feel he’s well worth taking a chance on.
