Ascot hosts a cracking seven-race card on the first day of the track’s November Racing Weekend. A Grade 2-winning novice hurdler last season, Dan Skelton’s Faivoir has to lumps of weight to his four rivals in a Class 3 handicap chase at 12.55pm. Olly Murphy’s exciting five-year-old Go Dante, meanwhile, has been declared for the Ascot Fan Pass Introductory Hurdle at 1.30pm.
The feature at Catterick – a Class 3 novices’ chase at 1.55pm – sees Minella Trump attempt to make it an incredible seven wins in a row. Chepstow also hosts National Hunt racing and the final contest – the TVS Supply Chain Solutions Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle at 3.25pm – boasts the largest field of the day in the UK.
Ireland’s sole meeting takes place under the lights on the all-weather track at Dundalk from 4pm.
