12:35 – Oud Metha Bridge

There shouldn’t be much between Pentimento and He’s Our Star on their C&D form in September and both should go well. Liam’s Lass and Luscifer are on dangerous marks but so is OUD METHA BRIDGE and Julia Feilden’s 7yo can gain a third C&D success now dropping back into Class 6 company.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

13:05 – Chillsea

Joli’s Legacy impressed with the burst she found to lead close home over 7f here last time but the longer trip and stiffer competition raises questions. CHILLSEA made a winning debut for her new yard over 7f at Wolverhampton and there shouldn’t be a problem with this extra furlong, having run so well over Beverley’s stiff extended 7f previously. Blue Artemis could well prove ahead of her opening mark and is also considered, along with Mr Fustic and Mabo.

13:35 – Miss Marble

Warm Smile, Sea Speedwell and Teardrop Rock are newcomers of some interest but MISS MARBLE showed a useful level of form when beating two subsequent winners at Chelmsford and she can defy her penalty.

14:05 – Hold Fast

Brains is back in the groove now and should make another bold bid, with Beloved, Asdaa and Alezan others to warrant a second look. HOLD FAST ran a cracker here 19 days ago though and a repeat of that could be enough to gain a fourth course success.

14:35 – Later Darling

There are some notable newcomers on show with Barqi and Dungeon both holding appealing paper claims. They have a fair standard to aim at, however, and both Brilliant Blue and LATER DARLING remain capable of better. The selection travelled powerfully for a long way at Newmarket 12 days ago and can get off the mark at the third time of asking.

15:05 – Hamish

A useful renewal of this Listed event can fall to HAMISH (nap). Although he could manage only fourth at Ascot on Champions Day it was still a good effort and the drop back in trip can see him resume winning ways. Dubai Future is a smart opponent who isn’t underestimated, while at a bigger price Shandoz looks capable of a big run with further progress on the cards.

15:40 – Marching Army

Pistoletto is enjoying a revival since his stamina has been more fully tested and he is respected, while Noble Masquerade can also go well. March Law is 3lb better off for half a length with MARCHING ARMY on their C&D run in September but it may not be enough to turn the tables.

16:10 – Spring Glow

A few of these look ripe for AW wins in the coming weeks, not least Sky Bright who made it three wins from her last four turf starts at Haydock and could have yet more to come back on Polytrack. Preference, though, is for SPRING GLOW who showed what could be done on this surface when sprinting clear over 1m4f here last month and is taken to defy a 7lb rise. Topanticipation and Pretty Sweet are next on the list.
