NAP of the Day: Friday’s NAPs Table of horse racing tips in the UK & Ireland

It truly is a fab Friday across the tracks in the UK and Ireland – and our nifty NAPs Table is the ultimate guide to aid your punting picks.

Where better to start than Down Royal for the opening day of the Festival Of Racing. A super seven-race card is headlined by the Grade 2 WKD Hurdle at 2.20pm, with Gordon Elliott’s Zanahiyr the star attraction. There’s also the Grade 3 Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Novice Hurdle at 1.45pm.

Wetherby‘s Charlie Hall Meeting also kicks off, with a Listed juvenile hurdle and a Listed handicap chase topping the bill. Magic Saint is set to carry top weight in the 3.50pm as Paul Nicholls’ charge makes his seasonal reappearance. Elsewhere, Grade 1-winning hurdler Ahoy Senor makes his chasing debut at 2.05pm.

Friday’s other National Hunt meeting takes place at Uttoxeter. Switching to the other code, Newmarket has the picks of the Flat cards, with the Listed Irish Stallion Farms EBF “Bosra Sham” Fillies’ Stakes being the pick of the bunch. There’s also all-weather action under the lights on either side of the Irish Sea at Dundalk and Kempton.
